is there any nice AND affordable places to live in west palm beach?

i know there are nice places, but is there anything affordable?

Affordable and Florida don't fit together in the same sentence unless being used with the word NOT.

I am exaggerating but many of the 'affordable' places are small apartments in rundown and sometimes dangerous areas.

Of course you can get lucky, maybe in this poor economy you can find a deal on a good place, but that seems like your best chance.

But keep one thing in mind, when you find a place, do a little research on that town or on that street. Look for news articles on crimes in the area, or find out what shopping districts are near by and if they are known to be safe areas. Do some research before you commit to any place.
